The Navajo Nation and its people have great potential. Tom Chee sees that in all of us.

To reach that potential, we need to focus on three goals. 

First, we are special because of our land, our language, and our culture.  This is what makes us Navajo.  The foundation of Tom Chee’s campaign – and his Presidency – is based upon the wise stewardship and utilization of our land, the preservation and use of our language, and maintaining the very culture that makes us special. 

Second, it is time that our government works for our people.  Our biggest employer is the Navajo Nation itself, and Tom will raise the standard for Navajo employment so that we are all proud of the work we are doing serving the people we care for. 

Finally, Tom is offering the Navajo Jobs Plan.  The Navajo Nation does not have to have an unemployment rate at 40%.  We can have real, private sector jobs in important sectors such as agriculture, energy, tourism, and housing development.  We can set the price of power for the American Southwest.  We can build our own homes and cultivate new carpenters and skilled workers to form a middle class.  We will all be proud because it is “Navajo made.”
